My project is a suite of four audio-based games designed for visually impaired players. Four simple games will incorporate 3D location-based sound to establish a player’s surroundings and situate puzzles or challenges for them to overcome. These games can also be played by sighted users hoping to experience a new type of game-play or expand their auditory capabilities. The main goal however, is to design games that are accessible for visually impaired individuals for whom visual games are less natural.
