Native Plant Guilds

In this 2-part program organized by the Wild Ones Mountain Laurel Chapter, Connecticut College Arboretum Horticulturist Anna Fialkoff will show us how to take inspiration from natural plant communities to design gardens with appealing texture, color, and wildlife value throughout the seasons. In the first part of the program, Anna will give a presentation defining native plant guilds and covering the basic concepts for planting and design with plant guilds in mind. During the second part of this program, Anna will lead a walk through the Native Plant Collection to show us plantings using this model.

You may attend one or both parts of this program.
