20th Annual One Book, One Region Kickoff, presenting “Being Heumann” by Judith Heumann
A kickoff celebration for the book with keynote speaker Jennifer Rudolph. Rudolph is Associate Professor of Sociology at Connecticut College. Her research interests include U.S. Latino expressive cultures, Latino identity formation, transnationalism, urban studies, and teaching Spanish to heritage/native speakers. She is working on a documentary about the Latino first generation in Chicago.
