GRINNELL, Iowa.--Connecticut College sophomore Mike LeDuc (Canton, Conn.) placed ninth in the 5000 meter run with a time of 14:40.55 at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship hosted by Grinnell College. It was a strong showing for LeDuc, who was seeded 13th in the race. LeDuc will now turn his attention to what should be an exciting season of spring competition. Connecticut College Head Track & Field Coach Ned Bishop was pleased with LeDuc's showing at nationals in a very fast race. "Coach Butler and I are very proud of Mike," Bishop said. "To be seeded 13th and finish ninth was a tremendous accomplishment." The Camels will open their spring season March 23 with the Monmouth University Invitational in West Long Branch, N.J.
