Sinsigalli, Murray Score Goals for Camels
NEW LONDON, Conn. --The Amherst College men's hockey team skated to a 3-2 victory against Connecticut College in a NESCAC men's hockey game played at Dayton Arena Saturday.
Amherst improves to 11-2-1 with an 8-1 record in league play, while the Camels fall to 4-9-1 with a 2-6 mark in conference action.
Dylan Trumble (McLean, Va.) scored the goal that proved to be the difference with 10:32 remaining in regulation.
Erik Hansen (Deephaven, Minn.) and Jamie Hawking (Waterdown, Ontario) chipped in with scores for the seventh ranked Lord Jeffs.
Mike Sinsigalli (Wilton, Conn.) scored his fifth goal of the season in the second period and Sean Murray (Stamford, Conn.) added a third period tally for the Camels.
Nathan Corey (Anchorage, Alaska) stopped 32 of 34 shots to earn the victory for the visitors. Andrew Margolin (Mahwah, N.J.) made 11 saves in two periods of action and was relieved by Marcus Calvanico (Flower Mound, Tex.), who stopped 10 shots in goal for Connecticut College.
The Camels out-shot the Lord Jeffs 34-to-24 in the contest.
