Connecticut College will celebrate its 99th birthday April 5, marking the day that it was officially chartered in 1911.

The festivities begin at 2 p.m. with a student performance based on alumni interviews. It will be followed at 2:30 with a Founders Day Tea with emeriti faculty as special guests. At 3:30, the new athletics camel will be unveiled during a Celebration of Athletics on Larrabee Green.

The Annual Fund is also counting down to the 99th with a challenge to graduates of the last decade. If 999 alumni from those classes give by April 5, Zoe Klein Henriquez ’99 will make a gift of $25,000. Find more information on the GOLD Facebook page.
