Early Bird Campus Tour

The rarest of all birds, an early-rising student, will show you around our beautiful arboretum campus in the peaceful stillness of morning. More campus tours will be offered throughout the day—look for them on this schedule.

While there is no formal pre-law “track,” there are many resources, activities and engagements available if you’re interested in the law. Our pre-law advising team will happily share them here.

STEM Tours and Q&As

We offer eight different tours so you can take the one you’re most interested in: Biology; Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology; Environmental Studies/Geoscience/Environmental Engineering; Mathematics and Statistics; Botany; Computer Science; Neuroscience; Physics, Astronomy and Geophysics. Professors om these disciplines will take you to labs and other spaces and tell you about research opportunities at Conn that are only available to grad students at most colleges.

Tours will depart from the sidewalk in front of Crozier-Williams (G2). When you’re outside, look for a professor holding a sign listing the tour you’d like to take. See the STEM insert in your packet for the full names of tours and their respective sign colors.

Camels Around the World

Visit Walter Commons, our hub for global learning, and speak with staff and students about resources and opportunities that can enhance your global education, including language study, study away, international internships, fellowships and more.

Camels Do Careers

To prepare you for an exciting, meaningful career and teach you skills to last a lifetime, Conn integrates career into almost everything! Advisers are there every step of the way, and you have the opportunity to receive funding from the College to pursue your dream internship or other career-related activity.

Arboretum Tour

The 750-acre Connecticut College arboretum is managed as a living laboratory for environmental research and teaching, and also provides Camels with space for rest and recreation. Take a tour and hear more about our long-held role as stewards of the environment.

Athletic Center Tour

See where our Camels get fit and in fighting shape. On this tour of the AC, you'll see the fitness center, field house, rock wall, natatorium, ice hockey rink and artificial turf track and field. You'll also get a view of our newly revitalized waterfront, including the boathouse and new docks on the Thames River.

Meet outside the front door of the Athletic Center (G5). Note: We suggest driving to the AC for the tour if you'd like to depart from there.
