To recognize the exceptional Connecticut College staff, the Staff Council along with the College President created this awards program in 2014. The campus community is fortunate to have staff members whose commitment and professionalism provide an invaluable foundation to the College. The Presidential Staff Recognition Program honors these valuable contributions and highlights the vital support that staff provides.
These awards are one way to celebrate how important the staff are in fulfilling the College's mission to educate students to put the liberal arts in action as citizens in a global society.
- Rising Star Award: Recognizing an individual who has worked at the College for more than six months and less than two years, yet has already made a notable impact.
- Service Excellence Award: Honoring an individual who demonstrates distinction in the conduct of their responsibilities at the College.
- Innovation Award: Recognizing an individual who has developed or implemented an innovative program, service, policy or process that has had a resoundingly positive impact on a specific department or the community.
- Camel Community Award: Honoring an individual who enhances the quality of life on campus, and is committed and positive about being part of Connecticut College.
