Dear Members of the Campus Community,

I am pleased to announce the members of the search committee for the next Dean of the College.

Jeff Cole, dean of the faculty and professor of anthropology, and Michelle Dunlap, professor of human development, have agreed to serve as co-chairs of the committee. They will be joined by Cheryl Banker, senior associate director of the Hale Center for Career Development; Samirah Jaigirdar ’22, chair of communications of SGA; Geoff Norbert, assistant dean for student engagement and new student programs; Jacob Nozaki ’22, chair of academic affairs of SGA; and Marc Zimmer, Jean C. Tempel '65 Professor of Chemistry. I am grateful to all these faculty, staff, and students for their service.

The committee is now seeking nominations or self-nominations of candidates. Please send names by Feb. 1 to Lauren Middleton, secretary of the College (lmiddlet@conncoll.edu), who will convey them to the co-chairs. The source of all nominations will be kept confidential.
