Dear Faculty, Students, and Staff,
Connecticut College adopted its strategic plan, Building on Strength, in November 2016, as a 10-year vision for increasing the College’s academic, residential, community, and financial resources. We are now approaching the midpoint of the plan’s expected 10-year timeframe, and so we are taking stock. When the plan was designed in 2015-16, we invited the involvement of the whole Connecticut College community. I am writing today to ask again for your informed reflection on what has been achieved and what remains to be done.
You can do this in the form of a short survey. Before completing the survey, you will need to take a moment to review the strategic goals of the plan and the achievements of the first four years. When you are ready to begin, the survey is simple and should take no longer than 5 minutes.
I want to thank John Nugent, director of institutional research and planning, for his expertise in compiling the four-year report on our progress and for designing the survey. We will share your responses with the Board when we meet in February.
Thank you for your participation.
Yours,
Katherine Bergeron
President
