Arboretum workshop "Creating Holiday Ornaments from Nature" Dec. 1

New London, Connecticut-The Connecticut College Arboretum is offering a workshop on "Creating Holiday Ornaments From Nature" open to both adults and children, to be hosted by Arboretum volunteers and staff. It will take place on Friday, December 1, at Noon in the Olin Science Center Lounge.

Berries, cones, flowers, and shells - all kinds of materials from the natural world - will be used to make unique holiday ornaments at this fun and creative workshop. The Arboretum will supply the materials and there will be ornaments appropriate for each age group. Participants may make one or many decorations to take home and one to hang on the live holiday tree in the Olin Science Center Lounge.
