NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College volleyball team (13-3, 4-1) cruised to its fifth straight victory with a 3-0 blanking of Middlebury College (10-4, 1-2) at Luce Fieldhouse Friday night.he Connecticut College volleyball team (13-3, 4-1) cruised to their fifth straight victory with a 3-0 blanking of Middlebury College (10-4, 1-2) at Luce Fieldhouse Friday night. Junior setter Marissa DeMais (Hillsdale, N.J.) posted a double-double with 35 assists and 15 digs to lead the Camels in the triumph.

The game scores were 25-21, 25-15, and 25-20 in favor of the hosts. Senior Lauren Wise (Oakton, Va.) buried 11 kills for the winning side. Amy Newman (Los Angeles, Calif.) reached double figures with 10 kills for the hosts.

Meg Christman (Wilmington, Del.) and Chelsea Manning (Cockeysville, Md.) had six blocks each to lead the Camels in the middle.

Jane Handel (Evanston, Ill.) buried a team-high 10 kills to lead the visiting Panthers. Caroline Cordle (Atlanta, Ga.) finished with seven digs for Middlebury. Lauren Barrett (Medfield, Mass.) had 23 assists in the match.
