Connecticut College 5, Coast Guard 4 Camels Sweep Doubles Match-Ups in Season Opening Victory

NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College men´s tennis team (1-0) opened the season with a 5-4 victory at the Coast Guard (1-2) Saturday. The Camels won each of the three doubles matches, securing the victory against the Bears.
Colin Tasi (Stowe, Vt.) earned a 6-3, 6-3 victory at #3 singles. Jeremy Bader (Lexington, Mass.) cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 win at #6 for Paul Huch´s squad.
Sophomore captain Craig Stanton (Warwick, R.I.) and Jeffrey Weisberger (Wayne, N.J.) teamed up on a 8-4 victory at #1 doubles. Henry Friedman (Wynnewood, Pa.) and Tasi collected an 8-2 win at #2. In the third doubles match, Karam Sethi (Irvine, Calif.) and Marshall Collins (Lexington, Mass.) cruised to an 8-4 victory.
