Coed Dinghy Championship Underway in Newport

NEWPORT, R.I. --The Connecticut College coed sailing team is competing in the Dinghy National Championship at Newport, R.I. this week. The 18-team field set sail Monday afternoon but only two races were completed due to the lack of wind.

Georgetown University is in the lead with three points. Harvard University is clinging to second place with 12 points. Three teams are tied for third with 13 points apiece. The Camels are 14th in the early going with 25 points. The championship action from the Ocean State will resume Tuesday morning.
