Wesleyan University 5, Connecticut College 4 Prophet Impresses in Victory at #2 Singles for Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Wesleyan University (7-8, 2-4) secured a 5-4 victory against Connecticut College (3-12, 0-6) in NESCAC men´s tennis action played at New London Thursday afternoon. Matthew O´Connell (Berwyn, Pa.) posted a 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 victory at #1 singles as the visitors rallied to win of the six points in singles play. Connecticut College freshman Trevor Prophet (Nashua, N.H.) was impressive at #2 singles for the Camels, notching a 7-6, 6-3 victory for the hosts. Prophet and David Kellogg (Kula, Hi.) teamed up for an 8-5 victory at #1 doubles. Andrew Watts (West Chester, Pa.) and Reid Larsen (Watertown, Mass.) pulled out an 8-6 victory at #2 doubles for the Camels.
