Iona College 21, Connecticut College 12 Bakanas & Brug Account for Nine of 12 Camel Scores

NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Iona College women's water polo team (14-9) extended its winning streak to nine games, topping Connecticut College (2-4) by a count of 21-to-12 at Lott Natatorium Wednesday night. Connecticut College sophomore Phoebe Bakanas (Redding, Conn.) netted a team-high five scores for the Camels. Senior Lauren Brug (Ventura, Calif.) chipped in with four goals for JJ Addison's squad. Ada Spahija (New Trier, Ill.) had two goals and Emma Heishman (Boiling Springs, Pa.) added a single tally for the hosts.

The Camels will host the Brown University Bears for a Northern Division match-up in New London Thursday night.
