Connecticut College 15, Goucher College 13 Miner Tallies 100th Career Point in Camels Third Consecutive Victory
Sarah Miner ´08 Tallied the 50th Goal and 100th Point of Her Career in Friday´s Victory Against Goucher

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --Connecticut College senior Sarah Miner (Fairfield, Conn.) celebrated a career night, scoring the 50th goal and notching the 100th point of her career in a 15-13 victory against Goucher College (1-5) in a game played at Colorado Springs Thursday night. Miner finished with five goals and one assist in Connecticut College´s (3-3) third consecutive victory. The senior tri-captain has scored 50 goals and dished out 52 assists, amassing 102 points in her career.
Sophomore Sara Christopher (Andover, Mass.) contributed with five scores for the victors. Jen Robinson (Bryn Mawr, Pa.) scored the trifecta with three goals. Lindsey Coit (South Portland, Maine) had two assists in the triumph.
Sophomore net-minder Jenna Ross (Longmeadow, Mass.) stopped 11 shots to preserve the victory. Abby Hill tallied a team-high six draw controls. Junior Emily Mason (Williamstown, Mass.) contributed four ground balls for the Camels.
Emily Blatter (Lexington, Va.) tallied a game-high eight goals and three assists for the Gophers. Kate Knitter (Sellersville, Pa.) chipped in with five goals and two helpers. Brittany Foster (Portland, Maine) had nine saves for Goucher.
Connecticut College built a 9-6 lead at the half and out-shot the Gophers by a count of 29-to-26 in the contest. After dropping the first three games of the season, the Camels have evened their record at 3-3.
Connecticut College will host Tufts University this Wednesday afternoon for a 4:30 p.m. NESCAC game in New London.
