Connecticut College 8, Wisconsin Eau Claire 1 Camels Win Three out of Four in Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. -The Connecticut College women´s tennis team (4-3) rolled to an 8-1 victory against the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in a spring break match played in Orlando Sunday. It was the third consecutive victory for Paul Huch´s Camels, who swept singles play and took two of three doubles matches to defeat the Blugolds.
Freshman Becca Heupel (Eden Prairie, Minn.) recorded a 6-3, 6-1 victory at #1 singles. Elyssa Emsellem (Potomac, Md.) cruised to a 6-4, 6-2 triumph at #2 and Jessica Bender (Westfield, N.J.) earned a 6-4, 6-0 victory at #3 singles. Ryan McManus (Marblehead, Mass.) rolled to a 6-3, 6-2 straight set victory at #4 singles.
