Samma Advances to NCAA Finals in Triple Jump

ADA, Ohio.--Connecticut College sophomore Alex Samma (Ougadougou, Burkina Faso) has advanced to the final round in the triple-jump event at the 2008 Indoor Track & Field Championship in Ada, Ohio. Samma covered a distance of 46 Feet, eight inches, to finish ninth in the trials. Senior Keith Drake (Norwich, Vt.) finished 12th in the mile trials and did not advance to Sunday´s finals.
