Connecticut College presents ´A World of Music,´ a Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble Concert March 5

NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Connecticut College Department of Music will present "A World of Music," a Connecticut College Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble concert, March 5 at 7 p.m. in Evans Hall, Cummings Arts Center at Connecticut College.
The concert will feature musical selections including "Festive Overture," by Dmitri Shostakovich; "Spain," by Chick Corea and Joaquin Rodrigo; "Let´s Face the Music and Dance," by Irvin Berlin; and "Scherzo a la Russe" by Igor Stravinsky. Gary Buttery, adjunct instructor of music, will direct.
