Connecticut College presents four full-length musicals in January

NEW LONDON, Conn. - For the second consecutive year, Connecticut College will present four full-length musicals over a four-day period in January. The productions are scheduled Jan. 24, 25, 26 and 27 in the Tansill Theater at Connecticut College.
The musicals, each of which will be performed by Connecticut College students three times during the weekend, include: "You´re a Good Man, Charlie Brown," about a day in the life of Charlie Brown and the characters from the "Peanuts" cartoon; "A New Brain," a semi-autobiographical account of the events surrounding the 1992 brain operation of composer-lyricist William Finn; "Painting It Red," a play about four people gliding in and out of romantic relationships in a contemporary urban city; and "Stop the World, I Want to Get Off," a story that follows a "regular guy" through life´s experiences.
All four shows, directed by Gerald Moshell, visiting professor of music, are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, however, so plan to arrive early.
