#15 Tufts 5, Connecticut College 1 Jill Mauer Tallies Score for Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Ileana Casellas-Katz (Denmark, Maine) and Tamara Brown (Annandale, Va.) tallied two goals apiece, leading Tufts University (11-3, 7-2) to a 5-1 victory against Connecticut College (6-8, 2-7) in a NESCAC field hockey game played on the Artificial Turf at Silfen Field Saturday. Jill Mauer (Millbrook, N.Y.) tallied the 32nd goal of her career for the Camels, scoring on an assist from Jenny Roe (Bethesda, Md.)

Katie Hyder (Winston Salem, N.C.) had four saves for Tufts. Jamie Sheahan (South Burlington, Vt.) had five saves in the first half and Steph Quinn (Arlington, Mass. ) added three stops in the second stanza for the hosts. Linnea Camerota (Waterford, Conn.) had a defensive save for the Camels.
