Connecticut College 8, Trinity College 2 Cornell´s Camels Close Out 2007 Season with Fourth Straight Victory
Mark Moran ´10 Stopped 10 Shots in the Second Half and Held The Bantams Scoreless for the Final Three Quarters of Play Saturday Afternoon

HARTFORD, Conn. - Freshman goalie Mark Moran had 14 saves, allowing just two goals in the first quarter, leading Connecticut College (5-9, 2-7) to an 8-2 victory at Trinity College (9-5, 5-4). Sean Driscoll tallied two goals and two assists and sophomore Jesse Stevenson contributed a goal and three assists for head coach Dave Cornell's Camels, who completed the 2007 season with a four game winning streak.
Steve Dachille added two goals and Ben Eischen collected a team-high four ground balls. Driscoll put the Camels on top to stay in the second quarter, scoring on a feed from Stevenson and it was a 3-2 game. Stevenson tallied 4:03 into the third quarter to make it a 4-2 contest. That was more than enough for Moran, who had 10 of his 14 saves in the final two quarters of the contest. The Camels were able to hold on for the comfortable 8-2 victory.
Jesse Stevenson led the club with 22 goals, 12 assists and 34 points in 2007. Sean Driscoll tallied 21 goals, 11 assists and 32 points. Steve Dachille netted 21 goals for Connecticut College. Brian Ford corralled a team-high 35 ground balls. Mark Moran stopped 121 shots in 11 games, finishing with an 8.94 goals against average. Randall Morrison had a 3-0 record, stopping 49 shots with a 6.08 goals against average.
