Camel Men Sweep in Fours Regattas, Women Finish Second in Three Divisions
The Camels Had Another Productive Saturday at Worcester-The Team Will Have a Quick Turnaround for a Sunday Morning Regatta at Mass Maritime Academy

WORCESTER, Mass.--The Connecticut College rowing teams traveled to Worcester for a regatta on Lake Quinsiqamond Saturday. The Camel men swept the fours regattas, winning in each of the three divisions they competed in. The women finished second in the varsity eight, varsity four and second varsity four.
In the men's varsity four, the Camel men cruised to victory with a time of 7:09.26. Bowdoin College was second with a time of 7:13.56 and Clark finished third with a time of 7:38.26. In the second varsity four, the Camels rolled to victory with a time of 7:33.26, topping second place Bowdoin who finished in 8:09.30 seconds. In the men's novice four, the Camels topped Bowdoin and Wesleyan with a time of 7:31.7.
In the women's varsity eight, Connecticut College finished second with a time of 7:36.3. Trinity won the regatta with a time of 7:13.5. In the women's varsity four, the Camels finished 12.3 seconds behind Trinity in second place with a time of 7:53.4. In the second varsity four, the Camels finished second with a time of 8:13.7. Trinity won the regatta with a time of 8:02.5.
