Arboretum offers "Say it with Herbs" workshop for making holiday gifts

New London, Connecticut-The Connecticut College Arboretum is still accepting registrations for "Say It with Herbs," an herbal gift-making workshop on Saturday, December 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Carol Gauthier, Health and Life Skills teacher.

Workshop participants will be guided in making an herbal tea blend, a lotion, a sleep pillow, body powder and more. Gauthier will share herbal lore collected through her extensive experience of leading a healthy lifestyle enhanced by plants.

All will leave the workshop with several personalized herbal gifts ready for holiday gift giving, all carried home in a herbal hat box. In addition, a light herbal lunch will be provided.

The cost of registration for Arboretum members is $44, and $52 for the general public. Registration is both limited and required.

The workshop will take place in the Connecticut College Olin Science Center lounge.
