Persephone L. Hall
Persephone Hall joined Connecticut College as the Hale Family Director of Career and Professional Development on June 15, 2016.
In this role, she will provide strategic vision and leadership for the College’s career and professional development programs, including the creation of new recruiting, networking and mentoring activities that will help students meet the changing needs of a dynamic global economy. She will also strengthen and expand partnerships with employers from all industry sectors, develop and lead an advisory council, foster greater alumni involvement in career development, work to ensure that career development is well represented in the College’s new integrative curriculum and team advising programs, and much more.
Hall has 30 years of experience in career services and professional development in both corporate and higher education environments. Previously the associate director of career development and campus outreach at Wesleyan University's Gordon Career Center, she held positions of increasing responsibility where she counseled students, supervised counseling staff, managed outreach to campus and corporate partners, and developed and presented CareerLab, Wesleyan’s five-day job search preparation course.
