Reunion Weekend highlights include hot air balloon rides, a carnival and clambake, class receptions and dinners, and a talk by Jeffrey Toobin, a CNN political and legal analyst. The complete schedule is below.

Murstein, the May Buckley Sadowski ’19 Professor Emeritus of Psychology and author of Getting Psyched for Wall Street: A Rational Approach to an Irrational Market, will speak on the topic “Winning on Wall Street: It Should be Inevitable.” Using a few facts about human behavior, research findings, crises and probability, you can increase your wealth. 8:30 a.m. Financial planning. Can you count on Social Security? How could a charitable gift to Connecticut College provide additional income? Join Dorcas Hardy '68, president of DRHardy & Associates, a former commissioner of Social Security and author of Social Insecurity, and Bill O'Neil, the College's director of major gifts and planned giving, for a lively discussion. 8-11 a.m. Open waterfront: Shuttle service to and from the waterfront will depart every 30 minutes from the front of the College Center at Crozier-Williams. Proper athletic attire required.

  • Sailing: Sailors of all skill levels are welcome to come down to the Thames River and try out the College's fleet of FJs, 420s and Lasers. Coach Jeff Bresnahan and members of our nationally ranked sailing team will answer questions and provide tours of the river by boat.

8 a.m. Bird walk with Robert Askins, professor of biology and Karla Heurich Harrison '28 Director of the Goodwin-Niering Center for Conservation Biology and Environmental Studies, and Glenn Dreyer MA '83, Charles and Sarah P. Becker '27 Director of the Arboretum and executive director of the Goodwin-Niering Center for Conservation Biology and Environmental Studies.

The walk will begin from Benham Avenue. Turn left onto Route 32 from the main entrance to the College. Travel north on Route 32 to the second traffic light, then turn right onto Benham Avenue. Go to the base of the hill and head towards the parking area on the left just before the railroad tracks.

8:30 a.m. Class of 1983 breakfast in K.B.

9-11 a.m. Class of 1968 brunch at Buck Lodge.

9:30-Noon. Class of 1958 brunch at the home of Betsy (Wolfe) and Bruce Biddle. Directions to the Biddle home are available in the 1958 hospitality suite
