Established in 1931, the Connecticut College Arboretum encompasses all 750 acres of College property including the landscaped grounds of the campus and surrounding plant collections, natural areas and managed lands. These resources support the Arboretum's mission of preparing students and others to craft a sustainable relationship with the natural world. The Arboretum is distinguished by a long-standing commitment to conservation and to supporting research and teaching in biology and environmental studies.
