Cognitive Science
Cognitive science approaches aspects of human cognition from the perspectives of psychology, computer science, linguistics, philosophy, and neuroscience. There is no cognitive science major.
The Minor in Cognitive Science
The minor consists of Linguistics 110, Computer Science 316, Psychology 307, and at least one course selected from Anthropology 314, Biology 314, Computer Science 310, Human Development 306, Psychology 314, or an appropriate Individual Study or course approved by an adviser in cognitive science.
Only one course may be counted toward both a major and a minor, but other approved courses at the same level or higher may be substituted.
